Description |
The UIUC Virtual Private Network is designed to provide secure communications between the UIUCnet network and client machines on networks that may not be secure, such as wireless networks or third-party Internet service providers (ISPs). Clients that use wired networks may choose to use the VPN, but are not required to do so. Clients that use the UIUCnet wireless network must use the VPN or QuickConnect in order to connect to any computer that is not on the UIUCnet Wireless network. |
