Description |
The primary purpose of the Network Design Office (NDO) is to provide network design services to campus units that want to connect to the campus backbone network, add wireless networking access, or modify an existing network. The NDO approves independent departmental secure wireless networks and departmental firewalls (for compatibility and security considerations). In addition, the NDO handles departmental VLAN requests for changes to CITES-controlled switches and grants access to Communication Equipment Rooms (CERs). |
