Description |
The Firewall Service Plan provides UIUC Network Administrators with the ability to filter or block incoming network traffic. The Firewall Service Plan offers preconfigured levels of protection from traffic originating from off-campus IP addresses. |
Who can use this service |
Any department on campus that has existing or newly-created UIUC IP-space should sign up for the Firewall Service Plan. The Network Administrator who is listed as the primary contact for a network in the web application Contact Manager may initiate the paperwork (available from the Firewall Service Participation web page). |
