Description |
UIUCnet Dialup Service provides dialup access to the campus network and the Internet. The standard allotment of connection time is 20 hours per week, with the ability to bank up to 40 hours. Residents of University Housing who have access to URHnet receive 5 hours per week, with the ability to bank up to 10 hours. Those who wish to have more connection time can sign up to be billed at $0.30 per hour after they have used their standard allotment. |

Cost |
Part of the cost of this service is subsidized by the Provost on behalf of the campus. A standard connection time of 20 hours per week is supplied at no cost; additional time is charged at $0.30 per hour (if you have signed up for this option). |
