Description |
Illinois Compass, powered by WebCT Vista, is an enterprise learning management system that gives faculty, instructors, students and others a collaborative online space offering tools for managing and delivering course assignments, tracking and publishing grades, and keeping course material available to students outside the classroom walls. |
Who can use this service |
Faculty, instructors, and teaching assistants may request a course site after completing the training requirement. |

Where to go for help |
Instructors should contact Illinois Compass specialists by emailing edtech@illinois.edu or calling (217) 244-7000. Students who encounter problems with logging in to Illinois Compass should ask their instructor to verify that they have an account. If the account does not exist, the instructor should contact edtech@illinois.edu . Any student or instructor who is unable to log in to Illinois Compass due to a password issue should contact the CITES Help Desk (244-7000 or consult@illinois.edu) or visit the CITES Password Page. Students and instructors can also find many helpful documents on the Illinois Compass help resources web pages. |
