Description

Application Hosting Services offers University departments and units the option of having their application server administered by CITES Departmental Services in the CITES Data Center.

Who can use this service

University departments and units

When the service is available for use

Supported Service Hours:*
Twenty-four hours a day, excluding the maintenance hours listed below

Maintenance Hours:
5:30 A.M. to 7:30 A.M. Monday through Friday
5:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Saturday
5:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Sunday

*The Supported Service Hours can be adjusted to fit your needs.

What you must have in order to use the service

• Banner expense account
• Application server

Cost

The payment plan for Application Hosting involves a $1000 setup fee, plus monthly charges that are negotiated on a per-customer basis and start at $300 per month. Sample service agreements can be viewed at http://ds.illinois.edu/hosting/AppHostingSLA_0308.pdf.
